AREAS OF EXPERIENCE
SERVICE
I organize multiple extensive community service projects such as the Pay it Forward Tour and Field Day, as well as smaller-scale local service projects.
LEADERSHIP
I always strive to lead, even in small ways. I do not do it to build my resume, but because I am incredibly passionate about what I commit my time to.
COMMUNICATION
My work experience with the Campus Y, Microsoft, and Student Union Public Relations has given me effective oral and written communication skills.
ABOUT ME
I am a highly motivated and dynamic business student studying marketing and leadership/strategic management. I chose these majors because they will enable me to follow my passion for fostering development and growth in every community I am a part of.
As a freshman student at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU), I established a chapter of the national leadership and service organization, Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF). This organization instilled a passion and purpose in me that I felt could really positively impact WashU, and I was able inspire a group of individuals to see my vision and join STLF without having previous experience with it.
The past two summers, I worked as a full time campus programs and communications intern at Microsoft (as a vendor under Kelly Services). Although I was the youngest intern to work for the local internship program, I was given autonomy over several large projects including the company-wide picnic, Microsoft''s token STEM-focused DigiGirlz camp, and intern events. I also implemented a OneDrive account for our team and a Sway account for the campus newsletter to increase productivity and communication.
